This engagement project aims to foster a reflection on interculturalism, gender equity and social justice through the dissemination of forgotten folktales that were collected in the second half of the nineteenth century in European peripheral contexts, with a focus on Italian and Irish islands.
This project is run by researcher, folklorist and language specialist Elena Emma Sottilotta (PhD, University of Cambridge), with the support of the University Council of Modern Languages.
